Christina Aguilera Hairstyles: Hot and Colorful

Christina Aguilera is an American pop singer-songwriter. She was born on December 18, 1980 in Staten Island, New York. Her father was a sergeant in the US Army and her mother was a Spanish teacher. As a child, Aguilera was sensitive about music. Aguilera was deeply inspired by popular singers like Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, and Madonna. At the age of 14, she recorded her first song ‘All I Wanna Do’ which was a duet with the Japanese singer Keizo Nakanishi.

In 1997, she represented the United States at the ‘Golden Stag’ International Festival. She sang the High E in full voice (E5) on a cover of Whitney Houston's ‘Run to You’ in 1998. She became popular after her debut album Christina Aguilera in 1999. Then her Latin album Mi Reflejo pushed Aguilera in global limelight.

Her second studio album Stripped in 2002 received mixed review and sold extensively all across the world. Aguilera’s overtly sexual image she emphasized during the promotion of the album became a subject of intense criticism. Love her or hate her…but you simply cannot ignore her! This pop singer surely knows how to keep the paparazzi abuzz with her latest makeovers and cool new looks that keep on changing with the seasons. Christina Aguilera Hairstyles have come into being some of the most spectacular works of hair craft and almost every young girl in the United States wants to dress up her manic mane like the singer.

Musically, Christina’s third album Back to Basic in 2006 was a substantial piece that contains intrinsic soul, jazz, blues elements. The album vastly received positive comments from critiques across the globe. More or less Aguilera has done high valued music that has won her several awards including five Grammy Awards. With a sale of more than 37 million records worldwide, Aguilera became one of the most successful recording artistes in the last couple of decades. She’s been popular for her fashion and sex appeal. Her array of hairstyles is also what her fans are crazy about. Let’s look at some of the styles.

Peppy Christina Aguilera Hairstyles

Classic Style

Aguilera can be seen sporting a classic cut on most occasions. In this cut, her tresses are finely trimmed and then defined into large. Wispy curls that sit magnificently on the shoulders. The top portion is pulled backwards to create height and volume. This elegant style is one of the best options for those with medium to thin textured hair and can be worn on any occasion.

Magnificent Body

Have you seen Aguilera at the Emmy Awards 2007? If so, you must have caught a glimpse of her miraculous hairstyle that truly set her apart. The style featured plenty of body on the top and the rest was pulled back and pinned up. This style is indeed elegant and suitable for all occasions.

Soft and Elegant

Aguilera’s hairstyles seem to be subtle and elegant on various occasions. Notably, when she was at the Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Party, Aguilera looked marvelous in her soft and elegant hairstyle. This is her all time favorite style. She styled her hair in the 1960s inspired model with angled layers throughout the top and the side sections shaped her waves. The long bangs were cut to create a soft finish.

Blonde Locks

At the 49th Grammy Awards, she wore a new hairstyle which was indeed a starlet inspired look. To create the look, she pulled her gorgeous blonde locks into a half-up, half-down up-style. The top created a flat feature along with a lot of attractive texture through the ends. This is a great and sexy hairstyle suitable for longer shapes but it suitable only for very formal occasions.

Christina Aguilera Hairstyles are quite a rage among youngsters. This diva also loves to experiment with colors and cuts and is never afraid of making a style statement that makes her appear to be bold and beautiful.

All these photos look bad of her. I'm not a fan of the oompah loompah tan & white grey hair. :(
