A Recipe For Healthy Hair

It is very important to have healthy hair, if one wants to make his hair look beautiful and shiny. Hair also needs proper diet and nutrition to remain healthy, in the same way as body needs. People are often aware of the recipes that would help in keeping the body healthy. Let us here have an insight into the ingredients that would make a very good recipe for maintaining the health of hair.

Water

Water is considered to be a very good ingredient in maintaining the health of the body. Proper hydration is provided to the body with the help of water. Apart from being an important ingredient for the body, water is very good for the hair also. It is advised to drink at least eight glasses of water in a day for healthy body and healthy hair.

Protein

For healthy body, it is very important to take enough of proteins in the diet. Similarly, protein is also a very good ingredient for the hair. The strength of the hair shaft increases with the help of proteins, thus preventing hair breakage. Thus, one should take protein rich diet such as fish, nuts, milk, and cereals to have healthy hair.

Vitamins

Vitamins are very important for the healthy body and the healthy hair. The condition of the scalp is improved with the help of vitamin A, which is in good quantity in carrots. The growth and the color of the hair are controlled by vitamin B and C. The circulation is also improved with the help of these vitamins. The formation of split ends is prevented with the help of these vitamins. Vegetables, eggs, milk, cereals, and fruits have high content of vitamins.

Minerals

A very important mineral for healthy hair and healthy body is iron. Lack of iron can result into lack of oxygen for hair, thus making the hair weak. Thus, one should eat iron rich foods such as dark green vegetables and red meat to ensure the adequate level of iron in the body. Zinc rich food such as seafood and meat should also be included in the diet to prevent hair loss. Nuts, fresh vegetables, meat and seeds should also be included in the diet as these foods have high content of copper which is very good for optimizing the natural color of the hair.
