Assessing Methods of Permanent Hair Straightening
There are many kinds of hair styling techniques in this fast changing world. The hair styling techniques vary from curly hair, wavy hair, crimping hair to straight hair. People are often seen frustrated due to their frizzy hair. In order to fight with hair frizz, going for hair straightening is the best option. Straight and flowing hair gives a great look, and enhances the personality of an individual.
Let us here assess the methods of permanent hair straightening. There are three procedures of hair straightening, which are explained as follows:
The first method of hair straightening is by way of using the relaxer. The use of relaxer helps to a great extent in making the hair straight, and is most of the times used in case of coarse and thick hair. Such a technique would only help in making the hair manageable and would leave the hair in slight waves.
The second method is the perm. When one talks about perm, the thinking of turning straight hair into curly hair comes into mind. When there is an application of chemical on the hair, the shape of the hair changes on a permanent basis. The hair would turn curly, if they are in rollers, and the reverse is also possible by this method, i.e. curly hair may also turn into straight hair.
The third method of hair straightening is the heated perm method. After applying the perming chemical on the hair and letting it stay for some time on the head, the hair is washed with water. 80% of the hair is dried thereafter. After that, the use of hair straightening iron helps to straighten the hair and provide the smoothness of the hair.
Thus, one can try any of the above said methods to have straight hair. It is advised that before selecting the method of hair straightening, one should carry out thorough research and then opt for the best method.
