One can also go to a salon and discuss with the hair stylist as to which hair style would suit your hair type and face cut. In some cases, not much of style is required. Just adding bangs can serve the purpose.
It is very important to ensure that the kid is extremely comfortable in the style that he or she carries. Go for the hair cut or the hair style, a few days before joining the school. So that he or she is accustomed to the style, and does not feel awkward after joining the school.
Also, make sure the style is maintained for a longer period of time by taking care of it and by going for regular hair cuts every six to eight weeks to maintain the style and the look.
