It is always advisable to start with a semi permanent hair dye, so that any kind of mistake can be re-done. Re-application of the color is quite possible in case pf temporary hair colors, after waiting for some time. First of all choose the color very carefully, taking into account your complexion and the natural hair color. The actual color normally comes out to be darker than the one given on the shade card. So, choose a lighter shade than given on the card. It is advisable to check the color against your skin tone whether it suits you or not.
Follow the instructions given on the kit very carefully. Never mix any kind of product on your own, as it may harm your hair. It is very essential to note the time required for hair color. Wrong timing can cause hair color disasters. It is advisable to take help of someone to reach the places where your hands don’t reach. After letting the color stay for a time period given in the instructions, wash the hair with a mild shampoo and conditioner.
Thus, it can be rightly said that it is quite easy to get the hair color done at home, provided one follows the instructions properly, with extreme care.
