Beauty with Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is a very good kitchen staple for dressing you salad or sprinkling it over the French fries. Apart from being used in the kitchen, this ingredient can also be used as a means to enhance your beauty.
The source of apple cider vinegar is apples; specifically apple cider. Acetic acid, which is the key ingredient, is formed through this process of fermentation. In ancient times, apple cider vinegar was very commonly used for beauty rituals. The use of it provides plenty of health benefits too. Some use it to treat certain infections, while others use it to relax.
The use of apple cider vinegar has been even supported by scientists, who say that it helps to reduce the cholesterol level. It also helps to lower the glycemic index of carbohydrate foods.
When used for beauty, care must be taken to dilute it before applying to the skin, due to its acidic nature. It gives a very soothing effect to tense sore muscles and feet.
Dilute the apple cider vinegar with water in the ratio of 1:8. Take a cotton wool and apply with it on your face. Let it stay on the face for around 10 minutes, and then rinse with water. The malic acid (fruit acid) in the apple and the acidic nature of the vinegar help a great deal in renewing the skin.
Apple cider vinegar can be applied to hair also. It adds shine to the hair and removes the residue. It also helps to get rid of the dandruff from the hair. Add one fourth cup of vinegar to one fourth cup of water and apply on hair. Rinse the hair after 5-10 minutes and get a shiny hair look. Rinsing your hair in this manner is a natural rinse and does not detangle your hair.
Apple cider vinegar is also used for face steaming. Add a few tablespoons of it to water and apply on face. This technique opens up the pores, thus making you feel fresh. It is a very good way to tone up your skin.
Thus, it can be easily guessed how effectively one can make use of apple cider vinegar for enhancing the beauty. So, just try it and feel the difference.
