Choosing Your Skin Tone and Enhancing Your Hair Color

There is no doubt that now-a-days, coloring the hair has become a very common trend and really helps a lot in enhancing the looks of the hair style and the personality of an individual. It is very important that the right kind of hair color is chosen to dress up the hair; else the entire look of an individual would be spoiled.

It is normally advised to take the suggestion of professional hair dresser to select the right kind of hair color. The natural color of the hair also plays an important role in selecting the hair color that should be used. Apart from all this, it is also important to ensure that the hair color matches with the skin tone of an individual. The right kind of hair color would help in adding glow to the skin. Therefore, one should take the skin tone into consideration before choosing the hair color.

The skin tones are basically categorized into two types, viz warm skin tones and cool skin tones. The color of the veins helps in determining the skin tone of an individual. Green color of the veins implies warm skin tone, while blue color of the veins implies cool skin tones.

People with undertones of golden skin or yellow skin are considered to have warm skin tones. The complexion of the type of peaches and cream is obtained when golden and reddish tones are combined. Hair colors having warm overtone would suit such skin tones in a better way. Hair color of copper blonde goes well along with peaches and cream skin complexion.

The cool skin tones include blue or pink undertones of the skin. Fair skin with pink cheeks and ruddy complexions are examples of cool skin tones. Hair colors having cool overtone would suit such skin tones in a much better and natural way. Hair color of hazelnut brown helps in enhancing the cool undertones of the skin. The skin really gets brightened up with this hair color on cool undertones.

So, determine the skin tone and choose the hair color according to your skin tone to come out with the best results.
