Common Hair Conditions and What You Can Do About Them
Hair is a very important feature of a person’s beauty. There are various kinds of conditions associated with the hair. Let us here discuss about them one by one.Some people have oily hair which is the result of excessive production of oil from the scalp. The excess oil is produced from the sebaceous gland. It is important to make use of the right conditioner and shampoo to deal with the problem of oily hair.
Dry hair is another condition related to hair. The hair may become dry due to exposure to sun, use of heat generating hair styling products such as blow dryer and curling iron, and swimming. It is very important to provide appropriate moisturizing to the scalp by way of having a proper warm oil massage at least once in a week. Secondly, one must make use of the right conditioner and shampoo to combat the problem of dry hair.
Dandruff is also a condition that is related to hair. Dandruff may occur in untidy and dry hair. It is very embarrassing to see the tiny white flakes of dandruff falling on the shoulders of an individual. There are many kinds of anti dandruff treatments available in the market these days. One should try any of these treatments to control the dandruff. Also, utmost care should be taken to keep the scalp clean and tidy, so that crusts of dandruff are not formed.
Another problem related to hair is the split ends. Split ends mostly occur due to untimely trimming of hair and the excessive use of heat generating products. Due to the heat, the moisture in the hair is reduced, which results in split ends. It is very important to go for trimming of the hair on regular basis to guard against split ends.
Hair loss is a very severe problem associated with the hair. Hair loss may occur due to change in the level of hormones, growing age, lack of proper diet, improper health, prolonged medical illness, use of certain drugs and medicines, and stress. The problem of hair loss can be treated to a great extent by taking healthy diet, giving proper stimulation to the scalp by way of warm oil massage, scrubbing the juice of onion on the bald areas of the scalp, and by reducing the levels of stress.
