Caring for the hair is one of the most important tasks that should be included in the life of an individual. Without taking proper care of the hair, it is impossible to attain smooth, silky, shiny and healthy hair. People face many kinds of problems with respect to their hair in day to day life.
It is very important for an individual to determine the type and the extent of hair damage, so that the hair damage can be dealt effectively and proper care of the hair can be taken. There may be a case, when the hair may be getting damaged and the individual may not even know about that unless it is pointed by someone else. Let us here discuss about some common hair damage signs and symptoms that an individual may witness.
Split Ends
Split ends is one of the common hair damage symptoms that is faced by most of the people. Split ends can occur in any hair length. One may or may not witness this kind of hair damage depending upon the hair length. People with very short hair length may not witness whether they are having split ends or not. In order to prevent the split ends in the hair, one must go for regular trimming of the hair.
Dry hair
Dry and lackluster hair also denotes the sign of hair damage. Hair may become dry, frizzy and dull due to excessive use of hair styling equipments and chemicals, lack of proper nutrition to the hair, exposure to heat etc. In order to get rid of this kind of hair damage, one must provide appropriate moisturizing to the hair by way of proper oil massage, proper nutrition and proper conditioning.
Over Elasticity
The hair may sometimes become excessively elastic, which may lead to hair breakage. It is very important for an individual to feed the hair with appropriate nutrition, so that hair breakage does not occur.
Limp and oily hair
There may be cases when the hair may become too oily, thus making the hair appear to be limp and lank. This problem may occur due to residue of conditioner in the hair or over conditioning. It is very important for an individual to take care of the fact that no residue is left in the hair and the hair are not conditioned excessively.
