Does Cutting Your Hair Make It Grow
There are many common facts about the hair which an individual must know. One fact is that around half an inch of hair grows every month. Also, around 60-80 number of hair are shed every month. With time the hair ends tend to become dry. They become brittle and have the tendency to break. It is normally thought by people that hair is not growing in such a condition. But, this is actually not the case. The hair grows, but people are not able to see any growth in the hair. This is so because the hair at the ends breaks out little by little every day.
So the hair that grows at the roots is overshadowed by the hair that breaks at the ends. Thus, it is very important to trim the hair ends regularly, so that the hair at the ends is clean and is not dry, thus enabling the hair to grow at its normal pace. There is no doubt that the growth rate of the hair would be normal and not increased, but the quality of the hair would be much better.
Trimming the ends of the hair on regular basis also helps to keep away the split ends. Apart from cutting the hair ends regularly, it is further important to adopt various other measures that can help in the hair growth process. It is very important for an individual to use appropriate shampoo and conditioner on the hair according to the type of hair.
One must also ensure to eat a healthy and nutritious diet to aid the process of hair growth. Drinking plenty of water in a day also helps a great deal in keeping the hair hydrated and increasing the growth rate of the hair.
So, go for a hair trim at least once in two months and have a healthy and nutritious diet, with plenty of water, to make the hair grow long, healthy and shiny.
