Hair care is one of the essential routines in the life of an individual. People have to take into consideration various things while taking care of their hair. However, in this process, they may be encountered with various myths, which may be either good for the hair or may be damaging for the hair.

People have a myth that going for a hair cut in full moon would help in enhancing the hair growth process. This is just a myth. Upon testing the same, it was seen that it just appeared to be a fun activity in seeing people going for a hair cut in full moon.
Combs and brushes used by other people with scalp diseases can spread the disease in your scalp too. This fact is true. Therefore, one should not share the combs and brushes at all.
People believe that shaving the scalp of a baby can help in altering the natural texture of his or her hair. This is just a myth. So, one should never ever try to do this.
It is believed that going for permanent hair coloring can only help in hiding the gray hair. This is not true. One can go for semi permanent and semi-permanent ways of hair coloring which are cheaper and are less damaging for the hair as compared to permanent methods of hair coloring.
People believe that sitting in sun with lemon juice on the hair would help in bleaching the hair and give them a blonde color. This is just a myth and this process never helps in lightening the hair.
It is myth that the results offered by the products available at the drugstore and the salon are the same. Products of the drug store are cheaper as compared to the salon products, but do not offer high quality as compared to the salon products which ensure good and high quality.
Sitting in sun for a long time may cause various kinds of hair related problems and may be damaging for the scalp. This is a fact which is absolutely true. Therefore, one should make use of sun protecting products on the hair before exposing the scalp to the sun for a long period.
