Hair Diseases Which Should Not Occur
Apart from skin disease and body disease, hair disease is also a cause of great concern. Hair disease can be in the form of yellow crusts, lice or ringworm. These hair diseases may occur due to any infection or improper care of the hair. Pollution may also contribute to the emergence of hair diseases. The various types of hair diseases and the ways to get rid of them are discussed below.
Witnessing yellow colored crusts on the scalp and rigorous itching on the scalp is a severe hair disease. The development of bald spots and a stale odor are serious issues with respect to the hair. It is very important to get rid of these kinds of hair diseases. These hair diseases can occur due to some infection or improper care and cleaning of the hair.
Prepare a mix of olive oil and carbolic acid (in very less quantity) and soak the scalp in the oil for some days. The hair from the infected area should be pulled out and the yellow crusts should be removed. Now wash the hair with an antiseptic soap to get rid of any remaining infection and disease.
One can also face the problem of ringworm in the hair which occurs due to comb and brush. This hair disease can be removed by rubbing the hair with sulphur ointment and washing the hair with bichloride soap. Thereafter, apply a cleansing ointment on the hair. However, it is recommended to be very careful while going for this treatment as such a treatment may result in hair loss.
One might have head about hair lice. The problem of hair lice can be treated with the kerosene or crude petroleum applies at night. Wrap the hair with a towel to retain the fumes. Wash the hair with an antiseptic soap to get rid of the lice. This hair disease is a result of untidiness in the hair.
