Hair Loss and Its Causes
Hair loss and the causes of hair loss take the prime attention of everybody. It is a normal phenomenon for some hair to fall everyday. However, if the quantity of hair fall increases with time, it is termed as hair loss, which is a cause of great concern. An individual gets tensed when he experiences hair loss.
The only question in his mind is how to regain hair growth. To gain hair growth, it is important to understand the causes behind hair loss, and then try to remove the problems, so as to restore the hair growth process.
The various causes of hair loss are discussed here under:
Hair loss may be due to a prolonged illness. An individual may face excessive hair loss due to stress and tension on account of a prolonged illness of around three to four months. Such a kind of hair loss is temporary and fades away with time.
Some people might be facing hormonal problems due to over active or under active thyroid gland. Hair loss may also occur due to these hormonal imbalances, and therefore it is necessary to correct this imbalance in the hormone level to overcome the problem of hair loss. Hormonal imbalance also occurs in women after giving birth to a baby. This also results in hair loss.
In some cases, hair loss also occurs due to the intake of certain medicines. In such a case, hair loss gets stopped when an individual stops taking these medicines.
Hair loss may also occur due to fungal infections in the scalp. Anti fungal medicines help a great deal in combating the problem of hair loss due to the fungal infection.
Diseases such as diabetes and lupus may also encourage hair loss.
It is very important to understand the cause behind hair loss, so that one can try to remove the cause and encourage hair growth.
