People with round shape of the face should go for a hair style that helps in hiding roundness of the face. Gentle waves are considered to be better options that extremely flat or curly hair style. An elongated look of the face can be attained by going for a hair style, which just falls below chin.
Layered bangs and short hair styles that help in adding length to the face are considered to be good options. Hair styles with short hair at the sides also look good on round face. A long hair style with layers and bangs give an elongating look to the face of an individual.
People with oval shaped face can carry any kind of hair style with great elegance. Long, layered shoulder length hair styles really look good on people with oval face cut. Having side swept bangs in the hair style help in augmenting the looks.
People with long shape of the face have a narrow jaw line and should therefore discard going for short hair cuts or hair styles which help in adding height at the top. Jaw length hair cuts should be avoided altogether.

Blow drying the hair at the sides on low heat and low speed would help in creating volume of the hair at the sides.
