How Calcium and Magnesium Imbalances Contribute to Hair Loss
Hair loss is a great problem and is affected by many factors. The problem of hair loss keeps on increasing day by day. Some people may face the problem of hair loss due to certain diseases. Also, in some cases, hair loss may be the result of stress, dandruff and other factors. Lack of proper diet may also cause hair loss.
Medical factors may also contribute to hair loss at times. Nutritional deficiency is a very important factor affecting hair loss. Calcium and magnesium are very important nutrients that help in the hair growth process. Any kind of imbalance in calcium and magnesium is a major contributor to hair loss.
It is very important for the hair to get proper nourishment. Calcium, magnesium and zinc are the very essential nutrients for healthy hair. The right proportion of the nutrients helps to maintain the healthy hair. Also, excess of everything is bad. If these ingredients are taken in abundance, then also it may be harmful for the hair.
A right proportion of calcium and magnesium is very important. If the amount of calcium in the body is more than the amount of magnesium, it may be harmful for the hair. An imbalance in the calcium and magnesium levels comes due to the intake of sugar. When excess of sugar is consumed, the level of insulin goes high, which wards off the calcium from the bones, thus depositing into the soft tissues of the body. This results in an imbalance in the calcium and magnesium.
People have a misconception that the mineral affect the body and not the hair. They don’t even think of the fact that any kind of nutritional deficiency can affect the hair, along with the impact on the health of an individual. Deficiency in magnesium is a very rare problem, but imbalance in calcium is very common. It is essential to maintain the balance for the healthy growth of hair and to prevent hair loss.
