How to Apply Moisturizer With Makeup
Moisturizer is a very essential element of make up. It helps to provide protection and hydration to the skin. It also helps in enabling your make up to last for a long time. There are different types of moisturizers available in the market depending on the type of skin of a person.
The steps and tips that must be followed by an individual to apply moisture with make up are listed below.
Make sure that your hands are clean, so that any dirt in your hands or fingers is not applied on your face with the moisturizer.
Wash your face with a mild soap and warm water. Pay special attention to T zone area and between the eye brows while massaging. Take warm water to rinse the face, thus helping to open up the pores of the face. Take a dry towel and pat the face with it.
Now apply the moisturizer on the face, beginning at the forehead. Place three dots of moisturizer at the centre of the forehead and massage in a gentle way in small circles, taking eyebrows and eyelids also in the massage area.
Put a small amount of moisturizer on the nose, cheeks, chin and the neck and work on all the areas in a gentle way.
It is very important that the moisturizer is set on the face. Wait for 10 minutes, before going for the make up. Application of make up after the moisturizer usually gives a darker look. Therefore, it recommended using foundation, blush and eye shadow in a light and small amount.
In case one wants to reapply moisturizer during the day time, take a damp cloth and remove foundation or blush in a gentle manner. Again apply the moisturizer on your face in the same manner as you had done earlier. Take care to guard against eyebrows, eyelids and around the lips while applying moisturizer. Re-apply foundation and blush.
