How to Care for Synthetic Wigs
Wigs have become quite popular these days. They are the best ways to hide the natural ugly hair, and make the hair look beautiful and nice. There are two types of wigs, i.e. human hair wigs and synthetic hair wigs. Both the types of hair wigs require care and maintenance. Let us here discuss on synthetic hair wigs.
Synthetic hair wigs are cheap and require extra care, so that they look natural and healthy. In order to maintain the life of the synthetic hair wig and to make them look natural and clean, it is very important that you take proper care of such wigs. People may wear synthetic hair wigs for styling the hair or for medical reasons.
There are many types of synthetic hair wigs available in the market in various types of colors. One can find synthetics hair wigs in various lengths and styles. It is very important that the type of synthetic hair wig you choose suits your facial features and appearance. After choosing a synthetic hair wig, one can style it with various hair accessories.
There is no doubt that synthetic hair wigs would get dirty over a period of time in the same way as human hair become dirty. Thus, synthetic hair wig should also be washed on a regular basis. In most of the cases, the wigs are washed after wearing them for ten times. However, humidity and the quality of the air also determine the time of washing of the wigs.
Regular shampoo used to wash human hair is not used in case of synthetic hair wigs. One can easily find shampoos in the market that are specially formulated for synthetic hair wigs. Add shampoo to the tub of cold water, and soak the wig in it for around a minute or two.
Thereafter, the wig is rinsed in cold water twice to rinse off the shampoo. Mist a conditioning spray to have a good fragrance. Let the wig dry away from the sun on an upright object or stand. When the wig is completely dry, use a wig brush to brush it. Don’t use a normal hair brush.
