How To Conceal Hair Loss
Hair loss is a severe problem, and is faced by both men and women. People normally come under stress and tension when they witness thinning of hair and hair fall. In many cases, it is not possible to prevent hair loss. Even if one can prevent hair loss by using some hair care products, yet hair growth on the bald patches will take time. In the mean time there are ways in which hair loss can be concealed.
One can wear a hat to hide the bald patches on the head. Wearing hat can create a new and stylish trend, side by side helping to hide your bald patches.
One can also try wearing hair piece on the bald area. The hair piece can be worn even during swimming and other athletic activities. When going for this technique of concealing hair loss, maintenance of the same should be kept in mind.
Hair extensions are also used by some people to hide hair loss. Wigs are also a very well known method of concealing hair loss. Wigs are of many types and colors. One can go for the one which suits best the hair type and color.
There are certain medications also, which can help in hair re growth. However, these must be taken in consultation with the hair stylist or the doctor. The most common among them are minoxidil topical (Rogaine) and finasteride (Propecia).
One of the most effective and expensive way of concealing hair loss is to go for a hair restoration method called as hair transplantation. It is surgical process and should be performed by the expert hands of a dermatologist. In this kind of surgery, the healthy hair from a part of the scalp is taken and transplanted to the bald area.
One can also go for other surgical procedures such as scalp reduction surgery or flap surgery. In case of scalp surgery, the bald part of the head is removed and the remaining portions of the scalp are joined together. On the other hand, in case of a flap surgery a receding hairline is put forward.
