Take a comb that is fine toothed and run it through the hair. Make sure to comb the hair well to remove any tangles.
Ensure that you don’t use any hair styling products such as hair spray or hair gel before cutting the hair.
Take a sharp pair of scissors to cut the hair.
If your hair already has layers, follow the same pattern.
Start by cutting the layer at the bottom.
Make sure that the layers are apart from each other between 3 to 6 inches. In case you have very long hair, you can even keep the layers 9 inches apart from each other.
One of the easiest ways to perform the hair cut is to bend and flip the hair over the head.
Make sure that while cutting the hair you stand in front of the mirror to have best results.
The look of the layered hair style can be enhanced by adding highlights to your hair, thus augmenting the layered hair cut.
