The type and the texture of hair may differ from one individual to another individual. One may either have dry hair, shiny hair, normal hair, oily hair, wavy hair, thin hair or curly hair. There are different kinds of hair care products available for each and every type of hair. It is very important that an individual chooses the right kind of shampoo and conditioner for his hair type.
Curly and thick hair are the most difficult to maintain and manage. In order to get healthy and shiny hair, it is very important for an individual to take proper care of the hair. Some of the ways to have healthy and shiny hair have been explained below.
One of the most important hair care techniques is to eat a healthy diet, which is composed of fresh fruits, juices and vegetables. Milk is considered to be a very good ingredient in improving the health of the hair. It is further recommended that one should restrict the consumption of excessive salty foods and sweets.
The consumption of these things results in dry hair. Alcoholic drinks should be avoided. One should make it a point to drink a lot of water on daily basis, for healthy body and to maintain moisturizing in the hair.
Make sure that you go for regular trimming of the hair, so that the hair remains healthy and no split ends are formed in the hair. Split ends damage the quality of the hair and make them brittle.
Ensure that you make use of proper comb and brush to remove the tangles in the hair and to make them look shiny. Make sure that the combs and hair brushes are not dirty.
Avoid excessive use of hair styling products such as hair gel and sprays. They tend to damage the hair if used excessively.
It is also recommended not to wash the hair with excessive hot water. Hair should be washed in luke warm water or cold water to maintain the shine in the hair.
