How to Grow Long Hair

It’s the wish of almost all girls to have long and beautiful hair. It is actually not that difficult to have long hair. Hair requires proper nourishment. Adequate moisture, nutrients and proteins help a great deal in having long hair. There is no need at all to go to a salon or a parlor for long hair. Following are some of the things to be kept in mind for having long and healthy hair.

Get the trimming of your hair done atleast once a month, to prevent the occurrence of any split ends.

Avoid excessive use of blow dryers, curling irons, hair press, and hot rollers, as these tend to damage the quality of your hair.

Avoid the use of harsh chemicals on your hair.

Immediately wash the hair after swimming.

Take extreme precautions and care while applying hair accessories, like rubber bands, bobby clips and other dressing tools to prevent breakage of hair.

Make use of wide toothed comb to remove tangles from your hair.

Never comb when your hair is wet. Let them half dry; then comb.

Try to cover your head with a scarf or a hat when you go out in scorching heat to prevent your hair from the harmful ultra violet rays.

Use appropriate shampoo and conditioner of your hair type to improve the texture of your hair.

Proper oil massage before a hair wash also helps in giving adequate nourishment to your hair.

Avoid leaving your hair open when you are sleeping. Open hair can increase the tangles; thus making it difficult to remove them in the morning. This may result in hair breakage, thus preventing the hair growth and decreasing the quality of the hair.

These were some of the tips to be followed to grow your hair long. Long and healthy hair requires adequate amount of nutritious food too. All the above suggestions and tips work effectively if accompanied by proper diet intake.
