How to Highlight Hair with Foil
There are many ways to dress up the hair these days. Hair coloring has become a very common way of dressing the hair these days. Coloring the hair adds great versatility to the hair. The entire look and the style of an individual change by adding color to the hair. Along with hair color, highlights also play a very important role in accentuating the hair style. Highlights are one of the most important aspects of the hair. In case of dark hair color, it is recommended to go for highlights of light shade, and vice versa.
There are many ways of adding highlights to the hair. One of the most effective ways is to make use of the foil to highlight the hair. Highlighting the hair with the foil helps to create a perfect deign and gives the best and the most effective results.
While highlighting the hair with foil, it is first of all important to determine the hair cut, and then proceed with the hair highlighting process. If needed, one should go for a hair cut first before highlighting the hair.
Now, take the layer of the hair you want to highlight in your hands with the help of point of the brush. Keep this layer on the top of the head and place the aluminum foil below this layer. Now take the brush and dip into the color and apply on the part of the hair that has been parted above the foil.
Make sure to leave around half an inch of the hair from the roots while applying the hair color. Thereafter, begin folding the foil and wrap it at the head’s top. Repeat the same process with other areas of the hair that you want to highlight. After all the hair strands that you want to highlight are wrapped in aluminum foil, wait for the time that has been specified on the hair color kit.
Now start removing the foil one by one, starting with the first one that you ha highlighted. Wash the hair after removing all the foils and see your hair in a new way with the help of the highlights.
