How to Look After Your Hair, Guide to Washing Hair

Hair care is a very important issue. In order to have beautiful hair, one must make sure to take care of the hair in a right manner. There are many things that have to be kept in mind while taking care of the hair. Using appropriate products, and washing the hair in a correct way are the primary concerns.

Some people have the thinking that creating a lot of lather on the hair with the shampoo is the best way to wash the hair. But, it is just a misconception. Washing the hair on daily basis, but lathering only once, is a better option that washing it once or twice a week, and lathering it twice.

After a hair wash, make sure that you apply conditioner on the hair. However, it is very important to make sure that the conditioner is rinsed out thoroughly from the hair. Also make sure that the conditioner that you use is the correct one according to your hair type.

Now, let us have an insight into the right way to wash hair.
Never be in a hurry to wash hair. Washing the hair requires time, and therefore make sure that you have enough time so that the hair is washed in a proper manner.

Dampen the entire hair thoroughly by taking your fingers throughout the hair.

Take some shampoo in the hands and rub the hands together. It is recommended not to pour the shampoo directly on the hair.

Apply the shampoo on the hair.

The scalp is massaged in a proper manner for around half a minute. Make sure you don’t scratch the scalp while massaging.

Now rinse the hair properly, so that no residue of shampoo is left in the hair. Limp hair is one of the most common causes of inadequate rinsing of the hair.

Now, take some conditioner in the hands and apply on the hair. the conditioner should be applied on the ends of the hair, and not on the roots.

Rinse the hair twice making sure that no residue of conditioner is left n the hair.

Now the hair is wrapped in a towel, so that the entire moisture is absorbed.

Dry the hair partially with the help of the dryer, and let them be completely dry in a natural way. If possible, let the hair completely dry in a natural way, without the use of dryer, as the natural oils are taken away from the hair with the use of the hair dryer.
