How to Prevent Hair Breakage and Maintain Healthier Hair
Why do the hair break? What are the causes of hair breakage? These types of questions keep on disturbing the minds of people when they witness problems with respect to their hair. At this point of time they get tensed and stressed, and do not know what to do. In this situation, the problem gets aggravated further and the problem of hair loss increases. Tension and stress are one of the reasons behind hair loss. Therefore, taking tension will only worsen the situation further rather than providing solution. It is important to think of the situation to prevent hair loss and maintain healthier hair.
It is a well known fact that around 60-80 are shed off daily while combing and washing the hair. It is normal process and there is no need to worry, as the lost hair are compensated with new hair. However, if the number of falling hair increases on day to day basis, it is a cause of great concern and requires immediate attention.
First of all it is recommended to reduce the use of excessive chemical products on the hair such as hair spray and hair gel.
The use of electrical hair styling equipments such as blow dryer and curling iron should be minimized, as the heat generated from them damages the hair and enables them to break more.
Also, make use of hair brush that has soft bristles, and does not pull the hair out.
Massage the scalp properly with hot oil. This is a perfect home remedy to prevent hair fall. Warm oil massage provides stimulation to the scalp thus improving the circulation.
Use the shampoo and the conditioner that are suitable for your hair type. If you are not sure, then take the advice of a hair stylist regarding the best products for you.
Go for regular trimming of the hair to prevent hair breakage and to help the hair grow in a healthy manner.
Lastly, it is recommended to eat healthy and nutritious food to give space to your hair to grow in a healthy way.
