How to Remove Oil from Scalp
Hair care is the need for beautiful hair. It is not possible to have beautiful hair without taking proper care of your hair. Proper nourishment should be given to the hair for better results. However, excess of everything is bad. It is true that oiling is required to restore the moisture content of the hair.
However, letting the oil stay on the hair for a long time can have bad results, thus deteriorating the quality of your hair. It sometimes becomes difficult to remove all the oil from your hair, by a normal wash of hair. Let us learn how to remove oil from the scalp.
Fuller’s earth (multani mitti) is a very effective product for removing oil from the scalp.
Choose the shampoo according to your hair type and wash your hair with it.
Now condition your hair by using the appropriate conditioner of your hair type and texture.
For dry hair, add “amla”, “reetha”, “shikakai”, and honey to 2 eggs. Stir well. Apply the mixture on the hair, beginning with the roots and then on the length of the hair. This process provides the required level of proteins and nourishment to the hair.
For oily hair, add fuller’s earth, “amla”, “reetha”, “shikakai” and lemon juice to one egg and mix well. Apply on hair now. Let the mixture stay on the hair for around 40-45 minutes. Now wash your hair and condition them well.
Wash your hair properly.
Mix the shampoo with some water to form enough froth on hair.
Ensure that all the oil is gone after shampooing your hair. Shampoo twice if required.
This way you can effectively get rid of the oil from your scalp. If the oil is left in the hair after a wash, it makes your hair look dirtier. Oil is essential for hair. Proper oil massage should be given to the scalp once a week. However, it should be removed from the scalp after an hour or so. Oily scalp gives a bad look to you hair and appears to be dirty. So, ensure that the oil is properly removed after a wash.
