I Dyed My Hair, But It’s Fading Fast
Hair color is the best way of an elegant and graceful way of dressing our hair and has a style of its own. Coloring of hair is the best way to dye your hair. It is true that the color on hair does not stay permanently and fades out with time. It is mainly due to the use of extensive hair products, use of hair styling equipments and hair washing. These factors reduce the pigments that have been deposited in the hair at the time of coloring your hair.
Two types of hair color are there, viz temporary hair color and permanent hair color. Semi permanent or temporary hair dyes are quite gentle and fade out with time. The chemical content is low in such hair colors. These types of hair colors can be re-applied if needed, after a specific period of time. It is very important to follow the instructions for the proper application of the same. Some hair dyes can be used on the whole head, while some only on the roots.
When using permanent hair color, one often feels tempted to dye it again as soon as the color starts to fade out. However, this practice should be avoided as excessive use of chemicals on the hair can be harmful.
To prevent fast fading of hair, it is advised to wash your hair with cold water, instead of hot water. Make use of a mild shampoo to prevent much fading of the hair. it is recommended to use shampoo for colored hair. Avoid the use of volumizing products as they also fade away the color from your hair. Hot oil treatments are also harmful for colored hair.
Make use of hair sunscreen if you are out in the sun. Red colored tones fade away at a fast pace. So, it is recommended to use shampoo and conditioner for enhancing the red colored hair. Thus, it is advisable to just follow the above discussed recommendations to let the hair color stay on your hair for a longer period of time.
