Inexpensive Hair Treatment: Olive Oil Wrap
For healthy and shiny hair, it is very important to take care of the hair in a proper manner. By giving an olive oil treatment to the hair, the hair can become quite soft and manageable. Such a treatment gives immense cooling and freshness to the head.
A proper massage with olive oil provides relief from stress and helps to reduce the hair loss. Thus, anyone who has the desire of getting soft and shiny hair should go for a olive oil wrap. The things that are required and the way to perform the massage have been explained below.
The things that are required include a cup of olive oil, a bowl to warm up the oil, hot water, and a long towel. A cup of olive oil is warmed up. Make sure that you do not over heat the oil. Now, gently rub the oil in the hair and in the scalp, with the help of your finger tips in a circular manner. Make sure that you carry your fingers in the direction of the growth of the hair. Apply the oil all over the hair.
Now, take the towel and dip it in hot water. The towel is then wrapped on the head. The process of dipping the towel in hot water and wrapping the head with it is repeated around 3-4 times. Thereafter, the head is washed with an appropriate shampoo.
Make sure that you go for olive oil wrap just a few hours before taking bath. The towel is dipped in hot water and wrapped several times, so that the oil gets properly absorbed in the hair. Olive oil wrap is a very good kind of treatment for the hair. The process of combing the hair becomes easy due to the application of olive oil in the hair. Life is added to the dull hair with the olive oil wrap. Such a treatment is recommended to be given at least twice a month. It is a very inexpensive and effective treatment.
