Lipstick
Lipstick is one of the most important elements of the make up of a woman. Without applying lipstick, a woman’s make up seems to be incomplete. Lipsticks are available in various types such as matte and glossy. Some lipsticks have the in built shine, while others don’t have. Shine can be added to the lip stick by dabbing it with Vaseline. Lip stick does not fade of easily and early. Matte lipsticks stay for a longer period than the glossy lipsticks.
Lipsticks have solid consistency and protect the lips from the ultra violet rays of the sun. Lip sticks are available in various colors, such as red, brown, pink, purple etc. One can apply the shade that best suits according to the attire one is wearing.
Shelf-life of lip sticks is longer and thus the lip sticks can be retained for a longer time period in your cosmetic box. When compared to lip gloss, lip sticks are considered to be more versatile. Lip gloss fades off early and does not show much of color as compared to lipsticks. It is true that lip glosses are much shiner than the lipsticks, but the shine disappears very soon with the fading of the lip gloss.
In order to maintain the cosmetic look throughout the day, one needs to apply lip gloss over and over again, as against the lipstick which lasts for a longer time without fading soon. There is no doubt that the lip glosses come in various fragrances such as that of apple, strawberry etc. but, the effect is not for a longer time. It is for short term only.
Therefore, the whole discussion reveals that lipsticks are far better than the lip glosses, due to its various positive features such as its versatility, durability, solid consistency, variety of colors and long lasting element.
