Making The Most of Your Curls
Everyone has different type and texture of hair. Some have straight hair; some have wavy hair; and some have curly hair. Women who have curly hair are very fortunate. However, they are not aware as to what should be done with the curls. It is very important for those lucky women to know the ways of working on their curly hair. There are many ways to style the curly hair and make them appear beautiful and attractive. Some of the tips with respect to working on curly hair are described below.
Firstly, it is recommended to wash the hair with a light shampoo and conditioner. Use your fingers to apply the conditioner by giving a gentle massage.
Take a dry towel and squeeze the hair to get rid of the excess moisture. Make sure not to rub the hair harshly while squeezing with the towel, to prevent the curls from getting separated and causing the hair to get frizzy.
Take some amount of light weight and firm control gel in your palms and rub both the palms together.
Now apply the gel on the hair, in such a way that it is spread throughout the hair in an even manner. Start applying from the nape of the neck, to cover all the hair from the roots to the ends.
Heating of the curls is required to set them in place. For this, take the blow dryer with diffuser, and blow dry the hair in different sections. Be firm to crumple each section of hair with your hand while it dries. This helps to heat the curl, while setting the crumpled section of hair.
All the hair should be fairly dry, but not completely dry. It is very important to have little bit of moisture in the hair to define the curls.
Make use of the hair spray to hold the curly hair in place. Misting the hair spray at the roots helps to provide a lot of control to the style.
