In order to attain better finish, a second coat is applied. It is then allowed to dry. Orange color shade is then taken and smudged on different areas of the nails. After it is completely dry, thick lines in crisscross manner are made with acrylic paint of black color. In order to create a zebra nail design a base coat of acrylic paint of white color is applied and then the nails are painted with black thin stripes in both the directions.

Human footprints on the nails are also in demand. Nail polish of any shade is taken and applied on the nails as base. The opposite shade of the nail polish is then taken for creating footprints on the nails.

One of the common, yet most revealing and popular, nail paint design is flower on the nails. A feminine and beautiful look is attained by having flowers on the nails. Flowers can be painted very easily on the nails. Tiny flowers or one large flower can be painted on one nail, as per the desire of the woman.

Make sure to take a thin brush for painting flowers on the nails, so that the flowers come out to be clear. Any shade can be chosen as base coat and opposite shade is chosen for making flowers. Ensure to make tiny branches so that the flowers look real.
