Nail Problems
Nail care is an important part of beauty and make up. Improper care of nails can lead to many problems. Some of the problems associated with nails are as follows:
Fragile nails: The symptoms are breakage of nails and easy peeling at the edges. Some harsh chemicals and frequent immersion of nails into water are the major causes of it.
Bacteria: The bacteria in nails are formed in warm and moist areas. Stains of green and yellow color are the symptoms of it.
Black or purple color: The nails get these colors on account of some severe injury or liver infection. However, when the person recovers fully from the illness, the symptoms are gone.
Nail biting: Nail biting is a serious problem and cause infection in the stomach. Apply a nail polish of good color and texture, so that you restrict yourself from destroying the beauty of nails.
Fungus: Itching, pain and loosening of skin are the most common symptoms of the infection. This problem in foot nails can be due to sharing of footwear.
Pale color: The color of nails can go pale due to lack of iron and improper blood circulation. Consumption of green vegetables and grains is the best solution for the same.
White spots: These kinds of spots are formed due to lack of zinc or excess of sugar. Consume more of zinc products, like grains, seafood and meat.
Yellow stains: Smoking, frequent use of nail polish, liver problems, and diabetes can cause yellow stains on the nails.
These were some of the problems related to nails. Proper care of the nails is very important to have healthy nails. Cleaning of the nails is very necessary to prevent them from any kind of infection, thus causing some severe problem. Therefore, it is always advisable to go for the treatment as soon as you come across any of the above discussed problems related to nails.
