Premature Balding
Hair loss is a problem of great concern for everybody. The problem is considered as more severe when it comes before time. Premature balding is an issue of great tension and creates disturbance in the minds of many people. People are quite stressed out and are often confused as to what to do of the sudden problem. This problem occurs both in men and women. Premature balding can be due to biochemical reasons or can be the result of genetic disorder.
Premature balding in men is mainly because of genetic disorder that is caused due to their mothers with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Thus, there is a fall in hair, instead of hair growth, thus resulting in premature balding. Hormonal factors are very much responsible for hair fall. There are a number of hormones affecting the metabolism of androgens.
A hormone called dihydrotestosterone is produced due to blood testosterone, which is primarily responsible for the growth of hair follicles. This hormone is also responsible for causing hair fall. The hair follicles are directly related to dihydrotestosterone, thus causing hair loss. Presence or absence of androgen receptors is the factor that is responsible for either hair loss or hair growth. Excess of testosterone or other androgens in women result into dry and coarse hair. This causes premature balding in men genetically.
So, premature balding in men is due to hormonal imbalance or genetic disorder. This is basically inherited from women who have excess androgens. Balding due to other factors such as improper diet, lack of nutrition and proteins, exposure to heat are quite natural and can be controlled, if proper care is taken. However, genetic cause of baldness is difficult to control and one has to actually survive with it. Some improvement can be there, provided you consult a doctor and follow his advice for better and effective results.
