Rules for Successful Hair Colour
If you are bored of your look, get a change. A change of hair colour would give you a bigger dramatic change as compared to anything else.
A basic change in shade, colour or just tone would give you a complete make over. With the choices of hair colour and dyes available today, you can look as natural as you want. When planning to go for a change in colour, remember the two simple tips that are stated below.
Choose a shade from the same natural colour change. It is most advisable to go for a shade change that is only at maximum four shades lighter or darker than your present hair colour. Any colour that does not fall into the same group as your natural hair colour would look very odd. For example, blonde works well on naturally mousy blondes.
Those with light brown coloured hair could go with blonde highlights but not complete change. Those with read coloured hair can go blonde in most cases. However sometime it would not compliment the natural skin tone. A brunette shade for blondes would look good, mid brown hair would look when changed to ash or goldenish brown.
If you have dark hair, try a shade of dark brown or burgundy. For a red hair look, blondes should try pale chestnut tones and to go from light to dark brown shades, try auburn and chestnut. Finally the classic black hair will look sexy with mahogany highlights.
Make sure the chosen hair colour suits your skin tone. The two skin tones are warm, cool and dark. Warm skinned people have golden or yellow undertones, cool skin people have pinkish undertone and dark people have olive or brown skin.
Warm skin tones look great with dark colours like auburn, cool skin tones look great with neutral tones like chocolate brown or beige blonde and dark skin tones would look great with practically any colour.
