Stress And Hair Loss
Sudden hair loss in both men and women is a cause of great concern. Hair loss due to combing and washing is very much different that hair loss due to blocked respiration of follicles. Sudden hair fall must be immediately reported to the physician. However some of the ways to deal with the problem are discussed hereunder.
The two major causes of hair loss are emotional stress and physical stress. Thinning of hair is very common due to emotional stress these days. In case of emotional stress, it takes several months for the hair to grow again.
Therefore, the solution in this case is to disguise the hair. As a natural reaction to stress, the cell reproduction is cut down drastically. The important nutrients and the essential fatty acid are lost. The reproduction of hair starts again when the reason due to which stress is there is removed and there is a rise in the level of nutrients.
Sudden hair fall may also be due to physical stress which may be the result of malnutrition, and certain medications. When the body regains the ability to cope up with the situation and gets rid of the physical illness, the growth of the hair resumes back.
Physical hair loss can occur due to any injury on the head or may be the result of heart attack. Certain medications such as diet pills, blood thinners etc can also be the cause of hair loss. It is very important to have hair vitamins and essential fatty acids to improve the health of the hair and the scalp, thus relieving from the physical stress.
Thus, it would be right to state that the solution to the problem of sudden hair loss due to physical or emotional stress is the removal of stress. If the stress is removed, the problem of hair loss will be solved.
