Tips for Bob Cut

August 10, 2009

The short bob cut is one of the most fashionable hairstyles that were invented in 1990 in Paris. So far it has managed to make its presence felt till today. Bob cut includes having the hair fall between the ears and the chin. The hairstyle looks great on all faces, facial structure, personality, lifestyle and complexion. The traditional bob cut hair is cut evenly and generally kept short. Moreover this hairstyle suits all age groups.

Inverted bobs and angled bobs are the most well-liked and fashionable kind of bob hairstyle. Inverted bob cuts involve cutting the hair in a manner than adds volume and texture on the crown with the hair kept together at the back. The angled bob cut is a flexible hairstyle which involves the hair to be cut at a slight angle at the back and slightly longer at the front. Chin length bobs look very classy and give a modern and urban look. The hair is cut till the chin length from the sides. The Chinese bob cut is cut at the neckline and bobbed up at the edges. The A – line bob cut involves the hair to be cut slightly longer in the front and cut in an asymmetrical style. The Pageboy bob cut is slightly different from the classic bob cut and involves the hair to be worn straight with a fringe that is cut at or above the eyebrows.

The bob cut always signifies chic and class and would never go out of fashion. This hairstyle works great with working women as it looks immaculate and precise. Moreover these short bobs can be styled and cut in so many ways to suit all looks. This hairstyle has been brought back into the fashion world by stars like Rihanna, Madonna, Sienna Miller, Christina Ricci, and Victoria Beckham. And for now, it is sure to stay.

Yeah, NO!!! Looking back the bob has been around since at least the 20′s…
Do you know hair at all? This isn’t even something you need to research. If you know fashion you know flappers and that bobs were very fashionable during the roaring 20′s jazz era! That’s just a couple years before 1990!!!
