Tips to Clean Combs and Hair Brushes
Apart from various ways to take care of the hair, it is also important that one makes use of proper and clean hair comb and brush. Using a proper and clean hair comb and brush would help a great deal in making the hair look beautiful and shiny.
The hair gets exposed to various kinds of hair styling products, chemicals, and pollutants etc, which make them dirty. There is a lot of build up of residue on the hair due to these elements. All these factors have a great harmful impact on the health and quality of the hair.
If, on the top of it, one uses dirty comb and hair brush on the hair, the condition of the hair may be aggravated further. Thus, apart from using the right kind of hair products on the hair, one must make sure to use the clean and tidy hair combs and hair brushes.
Let us here discuss about some of the tips to clean combs and hair brushes.
Collect all the combs and brushes and place them under tepid water. This would help in getting rid of hair from the comb’s bristles. A small portion of shampoo is taken for washing the hair brushes and combs. The hair are started to pull out slowly and slowly. In case of any difficulty, one can also rub together two brushes.
Bristles of hair brushes can be also combed so that the residue in the brushes is removed. Ensure to proceed in a single direction. After some time all the residue and the hair from the brushes would be effectively removed.
A towel is used for drying all the combs and brushes. Ensure to be very gentle while rubbing the towel on the bristles.
One can also make use of the toothbrush to clean the brushes and the combs.
White vinegar may be also used to clean the brushes and combs. The combs and the brushes are soaked in a bowl having water and vinegar. All the debris would be eliminated and the bristles would be cleaned effectively.
