Hair loss is a big issue and requires immediate attention. Both men and women face the problem of hair loss. It is very important to take timely action with respect to hair loss, so that you do not end up with a bald head. Hair loss may occur due to several reasons. Let us here discuss about top five causes of hair loss.

One of the major factors resulting in hair loss is stress. The lifestyle of people is very busy these days. People face many kinds of stressful situations in their life. The extra burden of responsibilities and work causes hair loss. It is very important to get rid of stress from life, so that hair loss is prevented. You should do meditation and yoga every day, so that stress is eliminated from life. This would help a great deal in restricting hair loss.

Hormonal changes also lead to hair loss. Women face hormonal changes in their body during pregnancy. The hair growth process is enhanced during pregnancy. However, as soon as a woman gives birth to a baby, hair starts falling. This hair loss process continues for around four to six months after delivery. Thereafter, the hormonal imbalance gets corrected itself and the hair starts growing again.

Improper hair care also leads to hair loss. It is very important to take proper care of the hair, so that hair loss is prevented. You should make sure to use appropriate shampoo and conditioner according to your hair type, so that hair loss is restricted.

Lack of nutrition is one of the major causes of hair loss. It is very important for you to make sure that the hair gets appropriate level of nutrition for growth. Foods such as milk, yogurt, fish, meat, nuts, almonds, apricots, potatoes, green vegetables and soybean are rich sources of essential minerals and vitamins, and help in encouraging hair growth.

Dehydration also leads to hair loss. It is very important to maintain the hydration level of the hair, so that the hair remains strong and healthy. This would help in preventing hair loss. You should drink lot of water in a day, so as to maintain the hydration level of the hair.
