The herb fights less sever prostatic diseases by reducing the DHT level that is the known cause of androgenic alopecia (term used medically for male or female pattern hair loss). Nettle Root Extract has also proved to be effective in reducing hair loss. Nettles have high Vitamin A and C content that are advantageous in reducing DHT production and reducing hair fall. Other traditional herbs that are useful hair loss are green tea, horsetail, licorice extract, ginger, apple cider vinegar, rosemary and sage tea.
