What’s Your Face Shape?
One of the most important aspects of beauty is the face. It is very important to determine your face shape, so as to look beautiful. It is the shape of your face that helps to decide as to which hair style would suit you the best. Your face shape determines the shape of the glasses to be used. The make up to be applied on the face that would best highlight your features is also determined by the shape of the face. It is sometimes difficult to determine one’s own face shape, but is very important.
Normally, an oval face shape is considered to be the most desired one. All kinds of hair styles and make up go with such a face cut. However, it is just a matter of one’s thinking. Perfection can be attained with any kind of face cut, provided the correct way is adopted.
One can determine the shape of the face by tightly tying the hair back into a pony tail and standing in front of the mirror. Take a photo of yourself and trace the shape of the face. Now, it clearly becomes visible as to what is the shape of your face.
In case of oval face cut, the forehead is wider than the chin and the cheek bones are prominent.
Round face resembles a circle. It does not have prominent cheek bones.
A long face cut has an elongated look. The face appears to be longer in length than in width. The cheek bones appear to be low as the length of the face is long.
A heart shaped face has a wider forehead and a narrow chin.
A triangle cut is just the opposite of heart shaped face cut, with a narrow forehead and wider chin.
The square type face cut has more angles and a wider forehead.
The diamond cut resembles a diamond and has narrow forehead and chin, with wider cheekbones.
Every person has different face cut. So just determine your face shape and have a style of your own.
