Where to Draw the Line: Using Eyeliners Inside or Outside Lashes

Applying eye liner is a great art. There are various ways of applying the eye liner. The way one draws the eye liner depends entirely upon an individual. The individual has to decide herself as to which style of applying the eyeliner would suit her facial features. Some people prefer to apply the eye liner inside the eye lashes, while others prefer it to apply outside the eye lashes. Application of eye liner inside the eye lashes may cause irritation for some people.

Some people have very sensitive eyes. People with sensitive eyes should always consider applying the eye liner outside the eye lashes, to avoid any kind of discomfort.

Most of the people have indifferent eyes. It does not matter to them whether they use the eye liner above the eye lashes or inside the eye lashes. Such people should definitely consider drawing the eye liner inside the eyes lashes to give a dramatic impact to the eyes. Drawing the eye liner within the eye lashes attract everybody’s attention towards the eyes, thus making you feel stand out. However, a smaller look of the eyes would be obtained after drawing the eye liner within the eye lashes.

One can also try to use a pale eye liner inside the eye lashes. This technique would make the eyes appear wider.

Eyeliner drawn outside the eye lashes is very common and gives you a great look, thus making your eyes appear bigger. The combination of dark colored eye liner above the eye lashes and pale colored eye liner inside the eye lashes gives a great look.

Make sure that the eye shadow that is used is lighter in color than the color of the eye liner that one applies above the eye lashes.

Thus, there are many ways to define the shape of the eyes by way of tricks to apply the eye liner. It is recommended to go for the eye liner which is of good quality, with a smooth brush that draws the line smoothly.
