Take one quarter cup of water and vinegar and mix both of them together. After washing the hair with shampoo and conditioner, pour this mix on the hair as the last rinse. This would help in making the hair soft and shiny.
Another good recipe for the hair is to rub the hair and the scalp with baking soda, and continue with the hair washing process thereafter.
The problem of dry hair can be very well dealt with the help of mayonnaise. The hair are rubbed with mayonnaise and covered with a shower cap. After around half an hour, wash the hair to get soft and smooth hair.
One can also make use of honey, instead of mayonnaise, on the dry and brittle hair to make the hair appear to be shiny and soft. Honey acts as a very good recipe for taking care of the hair.
In case of dark hair, washing and conditioning with rosemary works a great deal. One can also add chamomile or burdock root to enhance the hair growth process.
In case of split ends, washing the hair with sage works very well.
Rinsing the hair with lemon juice as the last rinse also helps in adding shine to the hair.
